JOURNEY OF THE ISRAELITE:
BY JOANNE CAIN
Jer. 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
In the last week I have come full circle with some things that have made me ask why was I not able to see this before? And if I did, why did I not listen. Which sent me on a journey thru the word.
Acts 7:51 Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Isa. 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
Which led me to: Jer 18:6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
Isa. 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Isa. 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
After reading many more verses then I have included here I am aware of one thing...listening is key to any true and steadfast relationship. Having said that I am painfully aware of the groan of the captive, of those who went before; and those who were commanded to make brick without straw; those who went thru the desert on the word of one man looking for the promise.
Dan. 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
Looking at the word broken: defeated, weakened, fragmented and cracked, disconnected, disjointed, it also means submitted, obedient and disciplined.
Ps. 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
I can honestly say on this the seventh day since I experienced this awakening within… he has comforted and confirmed and lit this fire in a way that its light has not dimmed in any area. Yet it has been a race for life…looking not to ones own understanding yet seeking only His revealing within. Amen!
His Circle of Fire: A simple stone smoothed by the waters of life ignites a fire that is more precious than any surgeon’s knife. This fire comes to anoint and refine those are purposed to be called out...from another time. Moving through embankments and walls of stone this fire comes as a sign that we are not alone. Pulsating with a passion for things unseen, offering an escape from what it would seem...Marking a path to this holy gate for one to enter in and occupy this redeemed state. This fire comes to those who are willing to seek His face, by the power of His spirit and his eternal grace. Reaping a harvest of holy seed this fire comes to one who will receive the authority in His name; but not forgetting from where it came, to free the captive and heal the heart with more then just a word to impart. It comes to break the hold of this worlds fear, to comfort and release one from a sea of tears. And to reveal His presence as the treasure to any who will explore and break the seal to this hidden door.
