I would like to share with you an apothecary... A mixing of scriptures and words that if we put them together and combine them like divine oil, they shall reveal Christ (is the way, the truth, and the life, through the word of God.)
Colossians 1:5 "For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel..."
Now, according to most Christian doctrine, this passage is used to remind us that there is something "laid up" for us in heaven after we die. This is not the truth. In fact, the truth will reveal the exact opposite. I found out that the Greek word for "LAID UP" is Strong's #606 --apokeimai — and it means "reserved, await, and appointed." However, there is an even deeper meaning to this word. The same word is used in the following passage:
Hebrews 9:27 "And it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment..."
The words "appointed" and "laid up" are the same. This creates the following thoughts and apothecary. It is laid up in heaven for man once to die, and then the judgment. Similarly, it could be said, that our hope has been APPOINTED to us from heaven.
Lets dig even deeper, because what I found out is that there is a secret being revealed in the word "APOKEIMAI," and it is found when you take the elements ol the word and put them together. Watch this: "apo" is Strong's # 575, and means, "to take off or take away." "keimai" is Strong’s #2149, and comes from the Hebrew verb "to lie outstretched, to be appointed, made, or set." apo=take off, takeaway keimai = to be appointed, made, set. God is taking away, taking off that which has been appointed, made and set.
Psalm 102:18-20 "This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that arc appointed to death," it has been laid up for us in heaven... the plan of God; to take away, and loose our appointment with death.
This is the truth. According to the cross reference that I did when I read the Hebrews 9:27 passage, which says that "it is appointed unto man once to die (notice it does not say, die and go to heaven) and then the judgment," it immediately referred me to this passage:
Genesis 3:19 "In the sweat off (thy face shall thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of" ill wast thou taken: for DUST thou art
and unto DUST shalt thou return "
This is the truth. It is appointed unto man once to die then the judgment. It is not appointed unto man to die and go to heaven, and be judged in heaven. Here is the judgment: the resurrection.
Daniel 12:2-3 "and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth... Shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."
1Corinthians 2;7"...but we speak the wisdom of god in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom that god ordained before the world for our glory..." "
1Corinthians 15:50-51"...flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption (death) inherit corruption (eternal life)..." it is appointed unto man once to die... And death does not I inherit eternal life. "Behold, I shew you a mystery... We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed..." this mystery... this wisdom... is changing us and causing us to shine in the brightness of his coming like the firmament. It is beheading us.
We are being changed by the renewing of your mind with this wisdom:
Revelation 20:4-6 "and I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment (the resurrection) was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded (not our minds, but Christ’s mind in us) for the witness of Jesus... And they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead (not "those in heaven") lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection..." There is another place that the word "apokeimai" appears:
2Timothy 4:8"henceforth there is laid up (appointed) for me a crown (symbolizing "the mind of Christ" and "wisdom") of righteousness, which the lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing it is humbling to me that by his love, grace, and mercy, the lord Jesus Christ is taking a people, through millenniums of death, and loosing them from their appointments through transformation, and giving them power to execute judgment in the resurrection. Just as we call to break a doctors appointment, god is calling us to break our appointment with the last enemy, which is death.
