REVELATION 4: PART ONE
I saw a door in heaven open... This word was spoken: “Come up Hither my son and discover I am one. I saw a living throne, from where his presence shone and from his sitting place. I saw the glory of his face, all around his brow. The colors of the rainbow, to look upon jasper & sardine; the evidence of all things fine.

Rev.4:8 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. 9 And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

An open door is given to come into his presence, “A door which no man can shut.” For centuries, the Book of Revelation has been hidden from us by foolish interpretations, clouded by the wisdom of man. Man has taken this book and found ways to distort the message. They have taken what is spiritual and applied it in such a manner as to make it earthly. This is not about the earth. This book is about the Spiritual coming to the earth. Theologians have not gone through the door to learn of him. We must first hear the knocking by our Master. When we hear his voice saying, “Open the Door.” We go through and into him, through the door, to see this heavenly realm. John was “caught up” into the spirit of God. We must not think that we can interpret this book from an earthly dimension. We must be “caught up” by His Spirit and brought to the throne. Then we can hear and see what the Spirit is saying to the churches. John saw the throne. The throne of God is symbolic of his authority and power. The throne of God is alive for the throne is God. When John enters into heaven, the very first thing he sees is God. He describes the throne like unto jasper, sardine and a rainbow round the throne and like unto an emerald. He was seeing the many facets of God’s expression. God was in the form of a throne and then radiated colors. God emerges into his sight in the form of the 24 elders. The wisdom of God takes on a human form. Notice, the elders circle the throne of God. Wisdom is personified in the form of four and twenty elders.

When John first entered the heavens, he saw the different colors surrounding the throne and later he noticed the elders. The elders are symbolic of the wisdom of God. They circle around the throne and face the throne. Wisdom comes from God. The circle represents eternity. It is the circle of wisdom the very wisdom of God expressed and seen in human form. Christ is the wisdom of God. It is through the elders that the wisdom of God takes expression in the earth. The fact that there are four and twenty elders shows that his wisdom is perfect and unbroken symbolized by the circle, which covered the throne. This wisdom came down to earth. This Wisdom is manifested in human form the person of Jesus Christ and his Church.

Twelve represents the first characteristic of God’s people in the Old Testament, the 12 sons of Jacob. In each son is a characteristic of God, the Son. It is the emerging of the person of God expressed in human form all pointing to the true nature of the Son of God. We are partakers of the divine nature. It is how God decided to reveal himself to man. His Wisdom was given to us in human form. This is how he reveals himself to the nations. 1Cor.1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Twelve is also the number in which Jesus decided to teach the beginning of his wisdom. He chose 12 disciples through whom he would eventually express himself. When we come to the book of Acts the 12 disciples are referred as the elders. The church council had taken note that these men had been with Jesus. The Acts of the Apostle was the very expressed imagine of God. Greater works did they do than Jesus. For these men turned the whole world upside down. Elders represent the wisdom and knowledge of God expressed in the earth. Without the elders, we would not have counsel In the multitude of counselors, there is safety.

John saw the very wisdom of God. The 24 elders bow toward the throne. The elders show the wisdom of God for they always point to God’s Throne. This wisdom has authority for it sits on thrones. The elders have gold crowns, the divine nature and authority of God. They are also clothed in white robes demonstrating its purity. Moreover, the wisdom of God is pure, peaceable and gentle. This wisdom always points to God and causes us to worship and bow down to him.

Wisdom is clothed in white raiment. White is symbolic of purity. When we walk in the wisdom of God, we walk in purity. Those who embrace wisdom need not to stand but can sit supported by the authority of God. “Is there any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Lord. Here in is the beginning of wisdom the fear of the Lord.” Here in is the beginning of wisdom when we see Jesus as our wisdom seated around the throne of God. We see that God has made his wisdom available to us in order that we maybe made whole. We are able to see God in each other and call upon the wisdom to take form with in us, his body.

Eph.1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: Eph.3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, Col.1:9 that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; Col.2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
