LESSON 5: GOOD REPORT
Whatsoever things are of good report... Eushemos, Greek for a good report appears on the surface to means well spoken of and reputable and having fame. For instance the fame of Jesus went abroad thorough out the country and region. This fame was based upon truth and the express imagine of God. He is the truth and the way. He was God in human form and gave a good report. He gave such a good report he could say search the scriptures for they testify of me. Therefore, a good report is the pure form of the expression of the truth, Jesus Christ. The expression of Jesus is our confession, which results in a good report. This is the enlightenment we receive resulting from our experience with our Lord. We make known our thoughts in order to manifest Jesus in our thought life. This process will cause to shine out from our inner most being the image of God. We are changed by looking into the perfect law of liberty from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. We are processing a good report that expresses Jesus in pure form.

If Jesus is not in pure form within our mind our thought processes how can we produce the fruits of the spirit? In fact if we do not abide in him we can do nothing. Abide means to stay within a given state. This we can only do with our minds. This shows how important it is for us to seek his face with sincerity embracing his word in his true form. The Jews searched the scriptures but did not find the substance that expressed the Christ. They were unable to see the scriptures that testified of Jesus for the word was not abiding in them. They could not believe in the one God had sent. The Jews did not have a good report because they lack the substance of his word, which is Jesus. Instead, in every instance, they sought to kill him and eventually abetted in his murder. Therefore, we come to Christ hear his word in order for his life to be in us. We come unto him to have life. His honor or good report is not from men for Jesus came in his Father’s name. God gave him a good report; This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Our conversion is the emersion of his very substance into our heart and mind by the hearing of his word. Our faith only comes from hearing his word. Our faith is the substance that is formed into the Christ. Christ dwells in our heart by faith. Thus, Christ lives in us. We know this because we only seek the approval of our Father and not man. Therefore, we do not depart from the blue print of his word, which produces the pure faith in our heart and mind. This provides the words and the apothecary’s substance enabling a good report, an honest report to shine forth from our heart and mind.

There is a quality of understanding that supersedes our consciousness. John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 1Cor. 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Some Christians cannot see this. The mystery of God is only revealed to us by his spirit, the Holy Spirit. Our understanding is not predicated upon our ability to accept the inevitable. We are not conditioned into the kingdom. We are not in the kingdom by some human process. We are conceived from above by the word or the Lord. We heard the report from the Holy Spirit and we received the words of his good report. For we received from the Holy Spirit that which glorifies Christ and he gives to us what is Christ and distributes with accuracy into us the substance of Christ. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:14 This is why we do not need a man to teach us. We have received an anointing; an unction that lives in us that unction is Christ that teaches us the truth of his person. Now we can say we believe him not because of some report we heard but because we have seen and experienced the Christ for ourselves. And these (we) all, having obtained a good report through faith, Heb. 11:39 will receive the promise.
