1 John 3:20 For if our heart condemns us; God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemns us not, then have we confidence toward God.
OT:1270
These scriptures link us with creation. We are compared to creation as having a heaven and earth. Just as God lives in heaven and man lives in the earth the two realms are brought together and not separated. In these scriptures, the two realms are depicted as being in us. How different our thinking will become when we see that heaven is not a place far removed from us but can be found in us. How alive the words of Christ become when we pray Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matt. 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. When heaven and earth agree nothing can stop the flow of God’s blessing. When our heaven (mind) and our earth (heart) agree with the will of God we will ask anything and he will do it. Matt. 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Isaac told Esau that his dwelling would be the fatness of the earth and the dew of heaven. Genesis 27:39 The two realms, heaven and earth are to be a blessing in our lives. One realm is not so far removed that we cannot touch, embrace and drink the dew that brings refreshment to our earth. For the heavens are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. Ps. 115:16 Beloved, Truth shall spring out of {our} earth; and righteousness shall look down from {our} heaven.
Heaven is our mind and earth is our heart. If we have iron in our heaven, we do not have the thoughts that lead to salvation and the knowledge of God. We are renewed in the spirit of our minds. Eph. 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Do you see the new creation brings heaven and earth together? It is united by righteousness and true holiness. A new heaven and a new earth where by we become new creatures, the old is passed away like a torn garment never to influence our lives again. The veil of flesh that prevented fellowship and communion with heaven and earth is torn in two that truth and mercy may touch each other and join our heart and mind to partake of the divine nature and eat of the fruit and meat of the promise land (Christ in us).
If we do not see this then our mind will become like iron and brass. Iron is a metal beaten into swords to be wielded by the arm of flesh to conquer and destroy the lives of men on the earth. It depicts the Adamic nature. Iron is all the Adamic nature knows, the conquering of men souls to bring them into servitude. Iron is unyielding; it will not conform to any other realms for it purposes death and destruction in lives of all humanity. Neither human reasoning nor the Age of Reason will ever yield the peaceful fruits of righteousness. It will never provide us with peace of mind or the thoughts of God.
Brass depicts judgment. All the pillars of the courtyard of the Tabernacle where set in foots of brass. The Laver was made of brass to bring forth righteous judgment. It was the place the priest would wash and become clean. It was made of looking glasses of the Israeli women. The Laver was shiny and you could see your image or if you lingered long enough you could see Christ in you the hope of glory. However, if your heart is like brass then you live in state of condemnation and unrighteous judgment toward yourself and the all others. If your heart is brass then your heart will condemn you and the world to a place of hell. A heart of brass will fail even as men’s hearts fail from the things that will prevail on their earth. Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken But Beloved we are persuaded better things of you. Heb. 6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. 9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. 1John 3:20 For if our heart condemns us; God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
Yes Beloved, we are persuaded better things for we are those who yield to the word of God. And There is therefore now no condemnation to them, which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. We are those who...let the peace of God rule in your hearts. And we have the mind of Christ and have been ...transformed by the renewing of your mind for our heaven and earth agree and our hearts are not condemned. We cast not away our confidence but we stand strong in the word of God.
Hebrews 10:35-36 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Rev. 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.
